Hello, and happy Monday everyone! Inspired by the July kit that you’ll begin to see sneaks, peeks and reveals of this week, I’ve created a color challenge for you all to play along with .
Make a layout, card, altered piece, mini—pretty much anything crafty—using these colors and you’ll be entered to win a prize from me. I have quite the stash, so no worries… you’ll love your prize!
You have until Sunday, 7/18 at midnight to upload your creation. I will choose a winner shortly thereafter and post a winner here on the MPTH blog.
Thanks for stopping by today! We are all so excited to unveil the July kit for you this week!!
]]>This challenge is super easy, great for the environment and gives your projects a one of a kind look! Are you ready?!!!?
My challenge to you is to use your packaging from your June kit from My Paper Tree House! As you can see on this project I did during the reveal that I used the throw away backing to the Jillibean Soup Corrugated Alphas to give me a one of a kind patterned paper. I loved the graphic look and knew I needed to use it!
Well now in this layout I used the packaging from the Prima Pack Songbird Vine Blue that also came in the June kit!
To make it my own I not only used a border punch to create a fun border but I also machine stitched around the edges. Yes, your sewing machine will do that!
So there you go! Consider yourself challenged! I have some fun goodies to give away for participating in this challenge! Link your creations by Sunday, June 27, 2010 and I’ll pick a winner on Monday morning!
Have fun!!! And get scrapping!!!
]]>Hi Girls, I want to give this a shot too… here you go:

For this one, I thought that an easy sketch would help you get some layouts started. Here’s a sketch created exclusively for My Paper Tree House:
…and here’s the layout I created using this sketch:
Don’t you just LOVE that cute little owl?! It was exclusive to June’s kit! When I first saw it, I thought… “What a hooooooot!” Hehe!
Okay, back to what I’m really hear for — the challenge! Who’s all going to play along?! Create a layout using that sketch, and you are up to win some a grab bag of Jillibean Soup goodness!
You have until Sunday night to play along! 🙂
Hugs,
sarah.
