I pretty much used up my entire kit on this album. I still have a couple of rub-ons left and a few chipboard embellies. I added some extra tags, a cute lunch bag, ribbon and buttons of course. The buttons look so cute hanging off the tags right?
Thanks for looking.
]]>This is what I came up with. Now this is just a seak peek because this album is taking longer than I originally thought so here is what I have done so far.
I made large tags to fit in the album pockets |
I painted my popsicle sticks and added the fabric that came in my kit |
The popsicle stick is the “handle” to easily pull out the tag, of course I had to decorate with buttosn |
I took a break to show you what I have done so far, so I still have a couple hours till I have to run errands. Back to work for me, I hope to have my album finished by tomorrow. Keep checking back, and if you have any questions … dont be shy. Also check out my paper tree house online to buy the monthly kits. This September kit is loaded with the Crate Paper School Spirit Collection.
Thanks for looking
Here are a couple of pics from my second album, which I am donating by the way to the Susan G. Komen fight for the cure.
I wrapped the fabric to the lower part of my chipboard cover. Then I added cute pattern paper to the top of cover. |
You got a full sheet of journal blocks and titles in the kit. That made it so easy to use |
The kit had lots of prima flowers!! Yeah!! |
Don’t you love the dollie? I thought it added softness to my page |
The kit also had book pages in it, I love the vintage feel you get from newsprint |
I loved the Jenni Bowlin buttons we got in the kit |
I made this pink rose bud out of scraps of t-shirt material |
These cute crocheted flowers was part of my fab aug kit |
If you check out the MPTH online store, you can sign up for your PRE-Orders for the September and October kits. WOW!!! how easy is that? I can’t wait to get my September kit. I love the anticipation when I see the mail lady. I run up to her, and ask “did I get my kit?”. My mail lady thinks I am crazy, but that’s ok cause its true 🙂
]]>The first thing I did was paint my whole canvas in a citron green. Then I took the chipboard template I made for the “designer add-on” which is a sketch of a daisy and painted the surface with white acrylic paint. I “stamped” it on my canvas and then went back and filled in the spaces with white paint in order to bring out the daisy print. After it was dry and I went over the flower with a black zig pen. Then I drew in some leaves and painted those green.
When my canvas was dry I added the other embellies I had in my kit and voila, this little piece of inspiration will be mounted in my scrap room.
I also decided to use a sketch from my new Paper Crafts Mag “Go To Sketches” the cards in this mag are all so cute.
