Hello Beautiful! 🙂
This week I want to encourage you to make your goals SMART. Here is what I mean:
(image found here)
Many people waste their time creating goals that are simply not realistic, and end up becoming frustrated with the reached outcomes. Others spend their time setting up goals that are so general that when it comes time to measure progress there is no real sense of accomplishment. Then there is even others that do not set up a time frame to reach their goal- so frustrations sets in because it never gets done.
As you make it a point to actually become successful, take the necessary steps to making SMART goals.
What are the goals you are commiting to reach in the next 30 days? Leave a comment with your goals.. I want to keep you accountable… 🙂
Love in Christ,
Nana
Nana, you’ve really added some depth to the SMART goal conversation. I like the practical examples you provided in this article. So many people talk about setting SMART goals but very few actually know how to do it. Great job at showing them how.
I have a few goals but the one thing that I must do is learn how to edit videos! My dreams are counting on it so I’ve put a lot of other things aside… I love the chart, it has helped me follow through on what’s important and let go of what isn’t. Goals with desired results and purpose makes all the difference for me.
I love this! Thank you for sharing! I need to use this in my goal setting!
I always find that when I set smart goals I am far more likely not only to accomplish them, but to realise I’ve done so and feel encouraged. That feeling of achievement and encouragement is really important to me when it comes to keeping going. At the moment I’ve working towards the end of my April goals and beginning to think about my May ones, but I haven’t set them yet…however since April has been an horrendously busy month I think one of my goals is going to be based around rest and inspiration (hmm…an idea stirring there – thanks!)
